IWC’s return to Clearfield, PA on Saturday night, July 10 was capped off by the conclusion in the rivalry between the “Super Indy Innovator” Super Hentai and the hometown hero, Sebastian. In Clearfield, we had seen a darker side of Hentai with Sebastian obviously being the decisive fan favorite, and tonight was no different with the special stipulation added of Ladders & Tables being legal. After a wild encounter, it was Sebastian who, on his third attempt, finally was able to beat the near unbeatable, driving Hentai through a table, signaling the end of the match. Hentai gave his respect and endorsement to Sebastian following the bout. IWC Super Indy Champion Shiima Xion looked on from the commentary area as he received a great view of what it is Hentai is capable of in a no-rules environment. Shiima will face it first hand when he meets Hentai inside a cage for the Super Indy Title in Elizabeth, Pa on August 21!

IWC Tag Team Champions “Flippin’ Ain’t Easy”, Jason Gory & Michael “The Bomber” Facade retained their titles against the team the beat to earn the honor, and longest reigning champions in IWC history, Irish Airborne, Dave & Jake Crist. After several minutes of punishing Facade’s knee & ankle, the Crists were distracted by The Gambino Brothers who, although banned from the building as members of IWC, bought tickets to get in and watch the action. However, when things became a bit too close for comfort, The Gambinos disposed of Bubba the Bulldog’s “security staff”, jumped the rail and created a diversion, leading to a double moonsault (or “buddy moonsault” as they referred to it) from the champions to retain the gold, as The Gambinos headed for the front door after a successful message sent.

Later that night, when Jon Bolen came out with the Airborne in tow in preparation for his IWC Title match against champion “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco, Pittsburgh’s Perpetual Pervert had a counter-attack. DeMarco offered to put the title on the line in a 6 man tag against Bolen & Airborne! Of course, due to them losing their “Loser Leaves IWC” match last December and being banned from the building it could not be The Gambinos teaming with their cousin DeMarco… yet Jimmy found two masked “luchadors” with a suspiciously familiar build and mannerisms. If they lost they’d have to unmask, thus “PROVING” them to be The Gambinos, and they’d face jail time. However, with a little help from special referee “Sweet & Sour” Larry Sweeney, DeMarco & his masked partners worked surprisingly(?) well together and were able to score the victory and keep the IWC Title around the waist of Jimmy DeMarco.

Following the bout, Sweeney confirmed his medical clearance and that he WILL join in on the Caged Fury main event on August 21 in Elizabeth, Pa, apparently now making the sides “Big League” John McChesney, Jon Bolen & Bubba the Bulldog vs. “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco, Larry Sweeney, and… supposedly Chuck Roberts. How will this saga unfold? Be at the Court Time Sports Center August 21 to find out.

IWC Super Indy Champion Shiima Xion survived an international four way dance of athletes looking to gain retribution for the disrespect and degradation of masked wrestlers, as evidenced by Shiima’s screwing Super Hentai out of the Super Indy Tournament while disguised in a mask. Shiima overcame CHIKARA standouts Lince Dorado and Frightmare, along with the young man from DTU in Mexico making his IWC return, Low Rider. Shiima has significant momentum, but the threat of Hentai in a cage still looms in the future of the “Filipino Flex Factory”.

Justin Idol & mystery partner Kato overcame the challenge of Eric Lee Schwab & business adviser Chest Flexor, though throughout the match Idol refused to touch the former Eric Xtasy. Idol is still of the belief Schwab’s new-found preachings of morality and ethics and Christian beliefs, and forcing his views on others is a byproduct of the severe concussion Schwab suffered this past January. However, concussion or not, Schwab proved there is something severely wrong in his mind, as during a scheduled intermission, Schwab re-emerged, threatening and physically assaulting Idol’s girlfriend, Chrystin, who was helping with our raffle that evening. As Idol came out to plead for his former best friend to not hurt her, Eric dropped her on her head with a DDT. A sick message to Justin, and all who watch on. Will Eric snap out of his current state or will Justin Idol finally be driven to fight the one man he thought he’d never have to?

Mike Sydal, younger brother of WWE’s Evan Bourne (formerly known as Matt Sydal) and 2009 Pro Wrestling Illustrated Rookie of the Year, made his IWC debut battling Logan Shulo. Shulo’s mic stand was forced from ringside early on, giving Sydal ample chance to showcase the amazing athleticism and quickness that runs in his family. However, Shulo was able to over-power Sydal, and pick up the victory, an emphatic message sent to Shulo’s original opponent Johnny Gargano, who was convalescing at home with an illness.

Brandon Day, hired by “Big League” John McChesney since Mr. McChesney feels he is too good to appear in Clearfield was set for action against Dean Radford, but Radford managed to out-swerve McChesney. Instead of taking out Radford, Day went one-on-one with Cingsley, a young rookie partially trained by Radford, looking to make an impact in his IWC debut. Cingsley performed admirably but the 10 year veteran Day was able to put him away with the Cut Throat Clutch. Mr. Day didn’t accomplish the goal “Big League” sent him to do, but still picks up an impressive victory.

Two debuting stars from the Ohio area met as Bobby Beverly, a brash, arrogant, narcissistic young man who is all about “sex appeal” and gyrating his pelvis, met the energetic high-flyer Matthew Justice. Justice was victorious, though a competitive showing from both men that will no doubt lead to more opportunities in IWC in the coming months.
