On October 14th, IWC owner Justin Plummer announced the reinstatement of an IWC original, the High Stakes Title. Implemented back in 2001, the High Stakes Title saw innovative matches between passionate wrestlers such as the longest reigning IWC World Heayweight Champion of all time Shirley Doe, current IWC official CJ “Kid” Sensation, and the final champion who retired the title when he left the Pittsburgh area, Boomer Payne. The title returns reimagined in 2017 and Jami Jameson, Marshall Gambino, Jimmy Veg$, Bulk Nasty, Chest Flexor, Keith Haught, Nathan Aulridge, “The Gavel” David Lawless, and Officer Dan Murphy will compete for the title. Which of these men will emerge as the brand new High Stakes Champion?
With the announcment of the returning championship, the final IWC High Stakes Champion Boomer Payne has announced his intention to return to IWC for the first time in 15 years! With his eyes firmly on the High Stakes Title situation, what kind of impact will the IWC original make?
Jock Samson and Shane InYaFace will finally go one-on-one after several months of issues between the two. When Magnum CK went down to an injury in July, Shane stepped up to team with CK’s Mega Plowers partner Jock. The duo were unsuccessful and Jock blamed the loss on Shane. After another loss for the Mega Plowers, Jock appeared to boot CK low and end the team. Shane made the save, and stepped up to team with CK against Jock and a mystery partner. But, when it came time to reveal his partner, CK attacked Shane and revealed it was all a ruse by the Mega Plowers. Shane looks for revenge against Jock on October 27th, with his eyes on Magnum CK at Winner Takes All on December 9th!
October 27th sees the IWC debut of international import Mambo Italiano! Originally trained in his native Italy, Mambo Italiano also trained in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with Lance Storm to refine his craft. Now he comes to IWC High Stakes 2 to make an impact. What will Italiano do in his IWC debut?
